I would like to change the rule for shots to also allow the word to be the Wordle for the same day one year ago.

Change ‘name of an active Seeker and the Merriam Webster Word of the Day for the day on which the Shot was taken, or the preceding day (per http://www.merriam-webster.com/word-of-the-day).’ to

‘name of an active Seeker and either the Merriam Webster Word of the Day for the day on which the Shot was taken, or the preceding day (per http://www.merriam-webster.com/word-of-the-day); or the Wordle answer for the day the shot was taken one year ago, not including February 29’.

From a mentorship email it sounds as if Juniper has misunderstood the word of the day as being a required theme for each photograph, rather than a verification that it was taken on or after that day.

Using past Wordle answers would of course break that verification.

Note that the whole “include the word of the day” thing is there to make sure you’re actually going out and taking new pictures rather than just making one trip into the country and taking a bunch of pictures to get queued up.

So if you do propose something in the future that changes the words needed, you’ll wanna make sure its not something a person can look up prior to the day in quesiton
