Replace the second and third paragraphs of the rule “Alliances” with the following:

Each Kaiju has a Right Claw and a Left Claw, collectively called their Claws, each of which is the name of another Kaiju. The Right Claw is a public alliance, and is tracked via a text field in the GNDT. The Left Claw is tracked privately, by the Attendant. Both of these properties default to nothing, and if either property is not set to a valid choice, it is considered to be nothing.

A Kaiju may, as a Daily Action, change their Right Claw to any valid Claw choice by updating the GNDT and making a comment to this effect; OR may change their Left Claw to the name of any valid Claw choice by sending a private message to the Attendant to this effect. Taking one of these actions counts against the daily limit for taking either, unless the Claw they are changing would otherwise be nothing.

The only valid Claw choices for any given Kaiju are the names of active Kaiju besides themself. A Kaiju may never set one Claw to be the same as their other Claw.
