Proposal: Crossfire

After the third bullet point in “Captures”, add:-

* If any Collectors named an Artefact other than Objective as their suspicion, those Collectors each gain 1 {{flesh}} Damage

We’re now at four Collectors to five Unknown Artefacts. Maybe this needs a cost for a wrong guess, to discourage shots in the dark and leave the interceptions to the experts. (It’ll still become a safer bet as more Artefacts are found.)

It’s going to be very hard for an Emperor to change mechanics at this point without it shifting the balance of the game.

It is. No reason not to try it, though.

I thought this might be potentially interesting for all sides: it encourages the Institute to keep Capturing rather than maybe stopping at four and certainly stopping at three, and makes this good news for a skilled Collector, who won’t be up against the random noise of might-as-well-have-a-guess amateurs (or up against nothing, if the Institute just stops Capturing).
