If the Proposal “Did we Fail?” passes: In the rule “Trust”, add to the bullet-pointed list immediately following “When a Mission is processed, the following steps are taken in order”:

• All members of the Responder Team are Wearied.

If the Proposal “Did we Fail?” fails: In the rule “Trust”, reword the bullet point that reads “If the Mission is Attended, and if an Android is among its Responder Team and has prepared to Sabotage the Mission, the Severity of its System is incremented twice.” to read

If the Mission is Attended, and if an Android is among its Responder Team and has prepared to Sabotage the Mission, then the Mission fails, and the Severity of its System is incremented twice.

Then reword the bullet point that reads “If the Mission is Unattended, the Severity of its System is incremented once” to read

If the Mission is Unattended, then the Mission fails, and the Severity of its System is incremented once. If this would cause any Crewmember to lose 3 Trust, it instead causes them to lose 1 Trust.

Has the lack of this precise a definition hindered anything so far?  imperial

Brendan: Well, no one has failed any missions yet.

Clarity in the ruleset is very important, and any time undefined terms are used it opens up the game to scams. I don’t know that this situation in particular would be a problem, but that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t close up possible loopholes when we see them (especially if we don’t see an obvious way of taking advantage).

Oh, wait, this talks about a “bullet-pointed list” in the rule “Trust” when it means “Missions”, so only the third clause will take effect. But it’s better than nothing.
