Proposal: E-Man and the Master of the Plantiverse!

Timed out 8-3 with 10 trivial.—Yoda

Adminned at 05 Jun 2011 13:34:31 UTC

In the wikipage Gardening Compendium found under the URL http://blognomic.com/wiki/index.php?title=Gardening_Compendium under the section “1.8 Sunflower” change the following line

Effect: When the Planter Harvests, e may add 15 more Sun.

to the line

Effect: When the Planter Harvests, the Planter may add 15 additional Sun.

This is my very first and I’d like to ask everyone to add “trivial” to their vote, since it is. :-)

for I know that I do not have to vote for my own proposal since it is, well, mine, but I thought I would make a trivial remark about it anyway. :-P

for Trival

Yoda:

against I don’t see what this does.  I don’t see anything wrong with the proposal itself, other than that it just doesn’t do anything.

Doesn’t this fix the typo in the Sunflower? Or is ‘e’ defined somewhere?

Yes, it is supposed to only correct a typo which I guess no one even cared about yet. (Thus, trivial.)

E is actually the spivak pronoun for he/she.

Wow - I learned something new today.
Quite interestingly, I just first searched the Blognomic-Wiki to find the rule gouverning spivak as I have never heard of such a thing before and finally used google to learn what this means.

If that is the case, you are right of course and my first rule is even more trivial than I thought.

Not completely though, as replacing the spivak word actually helps to clarify this for people unaware of such a thing as spivak. :-)

This is, of course, trivial, but I applaud you for finding this error and recognizing it. for

*although it isn’t Technically an error

Trivial and not necessary.

SingularByte: he/him

against Trivial. By Rule 1.1, any admin can replace it with “they” whenever they want anyway.

Yoda:

04-06-2011 05:39:12 UTC

Actually, that only applies to the ruleset…

SingularByte: he/him

04-06-2011 06:04:12 UTC

Oh well, my mistake.

Purplebeard:

for Trivial.

Josh: Observer he/they

04-06-2011 07:30:12 UTC

for Trivial. Always happy to whack some spivak.

Ely:

04-06-2011 10:21:30 UTC

for Trivial. Poor spivak… :(

Darknight: he/him

04-06-2011 21:13:05 UTC

for trivial.

aguydude:

04-06-2011 21:16:21 UTC

for Trivial.  Though it might make more sense to change the 1.1 to allow fixing all game documents instead of just the ruleset.

mideg:

True enough.

If nobody else does so in the meantime, I will propose that change once this is no more pending.
