In the ‘Cycles’ rule add the following text:
The Net will post a reminder two (2) hours before the aforementioned one-hour window.
This will help players from around the world who may forget that the times are UTC.
Cycles always end at midnight - the window is just for the Net posting the results.
Seems like an unreasonable burden on the Net, who may have purge commitments.
Purge commitments? Other commitments. My phone keyboard apologies.
Josh, why do you have to keep bringing up my purge commitments? Is there no privacy anymore?
Gidil, I’m afraid that would be a bit to tough on me - plus, it doesn’t really matter, as the deadline for sending in Directions is always the same.
BlogNomic is an online Nomic: a self-modifying game where changing the rules is part of the game. Players make blog posts proposing additions or alterations to the ruleset, discussing and casting votes in the comments: if enough vote in favour, the rules are changed and play continues.
The game has been running since 2003 and resets every month or so. Have a look around the wiki for more information and history. New players are always welcome and can join in the game at any time.
