Reword the sentence in the rule “Heat” that reads “Heat is always rounded to one decimal place, rounding towards zero” to read
A Villager’s Heat is always rounded to one decimal place, rounding towards zero.
Is this fixing something or just weakening the effect of Thick Jackets?
It’s always seemed like a wording that was ripe for arguments, to me—when a player with a jacket is made to spend 10 Time on nothing while outdoors, are they losing 0.05 units of Heat 10 distinct times (for 0 loss), or a block of 10 * 0.05 Heat all at once (for 0.5 loss)? This resolves that by cementing the rounding step to the point when a player’s Heat is actually changed.
Would be good to clarify, but this does mean that Jackets are being swapped to generally rounding towards freezing rather than away from it, and I’m wearing one.
