At the end I was going to put bigger swings but it was already 2 days old.

I thought people already thought that 4d4 was too risky. Not really sure why bigger swings are so popular all of a sudden.

[redtara] 4d4 was risky when you only got to roll once in the entire dynasty, but now you have to reroll every time you do an open house.

I’m pretty sure a 4d4 has a higher chance to give someone something big than a 2d8.

2d8: The probability to get an 8 each time is one 8’th and you only get 2 tries.

4d4: The probability to get a 4 each time is one 4’th and you get 4 tries. (So its very likely that you will get at least one 4, however with the 2d8 you will probably not get an 8.)
