In rule 2.2 “Second-Hand Goods” replace “An Appreciating Good has a name, an ID, and a Real Value, and is written in the GNDT as Name—X (#.#.#). X defaults to zero.” with
An Appreciating Good has a name, an ID, and a Real Value (which defaults to zero), and is written in the GNDT as “Name—X (#.#.#)”, where X represents the Real Value of the Good.
In rule 2.4 “Flea Market” replace “...he will use the same Offer if the same Seller takes the same Good (or another Good with the same Name, Category, Subcategory and Significance as it) to the Flea Market at a later point.” with
he will use the same Offer if the same Seller takes any Good with the same Name, Category, Subcategory, Significance, and Real Value as it to the Flea Market at a later point. (The Real Values of all Static Goods are considered equal.)
I think these will make the Appreciating Goods rule work in a way that makes sense.
