Proposal: From Humble Beginings

Reaches quorum and passes 5-0 -Larrytheturtle

Adminned at 21 Feb 2016 09:06:58 UTC

Create a new rule “Advancing Time”, with the following text:

If at least 48 hours have passed since Time was last Advanced, any Orc may Advance the Time by making a post to that effect and performing the following, in order:
1. Each Orc gains 3*M Spoils where M is their number of Miners.

Amend the rule “Warlords” to read:

Each Orc has a number of minions, tracked in the GNDT.
An Orc may spend 4 spoils to gain 1 minion of any specialty.
There are several specialties of minions stated in the following list:
-Miners
-Warriors

Double the Spoils of all Orcs.

I wanted to set up a few ideas that could be expanded upon. I considered including some kind of combat system but decided that may be too much for 1 post.

Note: I spoke quickly with 75thTrombone last game about setting up a time based rule (for instance, having the miners generate spoils every 48 hours) and it is not difficult to do.

I added you to the Active Players list. There are now 8 Orcs, Quorum is 5.

for Whoops, I’m not dead.

This seems a good framework, and also, it’s something, that’s always good. (Specialties of Minions aren’t explicitly tracked, but I think it’s clear that tracking Minions in the GNDT would note them as Miners and Warriors?)

Also, there’s room to fix up the cycle and add a few more things before we Advance Time the first time (because, it hasn’t been more than 48 hours since the last time Time was Advanced, that being never), which will have to be done by Proposal.

I forgot the tracking thing but I think it is relatively clear so it should be fine.
