In the rule Upgrades, add the following to Upgrade Benchmarks:
A Snap in which the posting Seekers score is greater or equal to 21.
Need some more awards to keep moving. I hope the score is challenging.
So, if I have 5 unique objects at home that no one else is likely to have, and I put one in each of my criteria, I can run up an Unsatisfying Score to 4 on each of those against other Seekers’ Snaps, then take my own Snap of all 5 together and score 25.
Sure, I could have kept that to myself, but I assume that’s what NadNavillus is secretly wanting to do, so I’m outing the strategy to either squash it or let it ride for everyone.
Does seem hard to get there conventionally, and the similar Outstanding Composition (where we gun for five matches and don’t care what’s in our own photos) hasn’t been that interesting.
With a lower number it becomes more skilful, but starts to overlap with Conceptual Balance.
JonathanDark I think that would only net a score of 20 or I suppose 22 if one found that pleasing.
And, I think I agree with both of you. I’ll withdraw this. Still think we need a few more Upgrades for the game.
BlogNomic is an online Nomic: a self-modifying game where changing the rules is part of the game. Players make blog posts proposing additions or alterations to the ruleset, discussing and casting votes in the comments: if enough vote in favour, the rules are changed and play continues.
