I’ve remembered that this exists and want to play again. Since a new dynasty is about to start, this seems like perfect timing.
Also, I distinctly remember that the last time I played this game there was also a village of Zahndorf with a lycanthropy problem…

Kevan, your mistake in the GNDT made me realize something - the current ruleset says that unidled players gain the symptom “dead”, but “dead” is not listed as a symptom otherwise and technically has nothing to do with the “Death” symptom. Of course, it’s all going to be revoked now and you would probably die anyway since you can’t leave the Road (unless a kindly ghost gave you something to eat). Kind of a funny bug, though.
Actually, you can live indefinitely out on the road since Dandelions got enacted and they don’t cause the Plauge.
I did also realize that someone who got ascension could stall the hiatus indefinitely by making blog comments at least weekly but not posting an address. I’m unsure of whether any previous CfJs on this have been raised before though.
BlogNomic is an online Nomic: a self-modifying game where changing the rules is part of the game. Players make blog posts proposing additions or alterations to the ruleset, discussing and casting votes in the comments: if enough vote in favour, the rules are changed and play continues.
The game has been running since 2003 and resets every month or so. Have a look around the wiki for more information and history. New players are always welcome and can join in the game at any time.
