And thus I must make an entry to the blog. The change was made on the basis of the instructions in the rule “Spies {I}.” From my reading, I believe that no one is required to offer congratulations to the same Team twice.

I’m going to warmly congratulate Team Paving once again, just in case.

I think the change is enough of a result that I need to congratulate you all again anyway. Congratulations to Brendan for his amazing spying!

Brendan’s fantastic spying abilities were on display and contributed to an incredible performance by ais’ team. Well done and congratulations!

I congratulate ais523 and SingularByte warmly once more, just in case.

Hmm, the trigger for rudeness says “If that change was made as a result of a Team achieving its Target” whereas the rule that allows you to increase triumphs is triggered by “When a Participant ceases to be a Mastermind’s Spy (due to that Mastermind losing their Target), if that former Spy did not gain Triumphs as part of the same action that caused them to cease to be a Spy”. So in this case, it was an indirect rather than direct result of team “paving” scoring.
I actually don’t know how this one is resolved. I certainly think it shouldn’t trigger rudeness, but don’t know whether it does or not (even if it does, I would support a proposal or CFJ to remove it).
