Add a new rule, “Tools”:-

Each Machinist has a personal list of the Tools they are carrying, which is publicly tracked.

If a Machinist is carrying no Tools, they may requisition one from the following list, gaining it. Each Tool has the effect described.

* Brush: Cleaning does not cost you Paint.
* Sander: You may convert your Plates into Panels at any time.
* Satchel: You may pay 1 fewer Bauble when Trading.

I’m going to vote against  here.
Tools 1 and 3 are immensely powerful with or against the correct agendas, with 1 being able to shut down a good chunk of graffiti based agendas.

2 also feels very much like it’s geared towards some niche agenda of its own.

For gamestate tracking, Tools could be grouped with Components as a “carrying” thing.

Writing proposals that help and don’t carelessly hinder our own goals is more relevant than ever for this “complete secret agendas” dynasty, isn’t it, rather than a weird Kevan thing? You were talking about proposing a fun game rather than advancing your victory “at this stage”, at an earlier step of the game, Bucky, and I assume you’ve moved on from that now.

I’m not opposed to the idea of Tools in general, but their utility and impact needs to be small.
