Influential Beacon (tentative)

If the influential beacon is in my range when I become added, I would like to use it to increase my influence by the appropriate number of points.

Illegal. Local rules only affect those downstream of the rule’s Locale.

Señor Amigo is right.  Essentially, your TL has to be after the beacon’s locale AND you have to be within range.

The line from the Ruleset which is significant in this sort of situation is “Any Traveller whose Temporal Location is before a Local Rule’s Locale is not counted as a Traveller for the purposes of that Local Rule.”
