Proposal: Lightsaber Duels, Part 1

Note: I will be dividing these proposals in bite-size chunks that can stand for the most part on their own.  This is mainly to avoid the disaster that happened to Rodlen’s combat proposal.

Create a new dynastic rule titled “Melee” with the following text:

Each DDA Member has a Strength (abbr. STR) and a Agility (abbr. AGI) statistic.  The highest legal value for each of these statistics is 10.  If an action would set any of these statistics to a value greater than 10, it instead sets that statistic to 10.  New DDA Members start with a value of 0 in each of these statistics.

for I was joking, but nonetheless if you’re going to do this, I guess I’d better do the spacecraft combat rules otherwise you are literally going to end up doing everything. I’ve already got a rough sketchof where I want to go with it - I’ll post the first part tomorrow.

I think the idea of lightsaber duels is great.  The only problems are how to do it and whether everyone else wants to do it.

We can’t use the stats we have now for lightsaber duels.

I don’t think Lightsaber duels are neccessary.  I think the combat should take place in spaceships and that be about it.

To me, yes.  I didn’t like the pirate dynasty.  If this becomes a similiar dynasty then I will probably be dropping out again :(
