If you want your “default designation” to change, you should propose that a rule be added to the ruleset to that effect, so that we don’t have to memorize it.  What I think you’re looking for is a one-time change to your “designation”

Hix: it won’t be necessary to reference his default designation unless he somehow ends up without a designation.
