The Delivery Driver walks up to Finest Grill for a Chicken Shawarma Wrap. Staring tiredly at their overstuffed clipboard they nod along to being upsold a Mixed Grill, and order a strong black coffee. Applebane takes $15, plus $3 for the drink.

The Retiree heads to Grill Noir for a Faux Meat Bowl and a mocktail. Eternalservererror takes $12, plus $3 for the drink.

The Deep Sea Diver clunks their heavy bag of gear outside Melody’s Dine and Wine and considers the Beef Salad with Red Wine. After a long conversation about the possibility of a white wine, they trudge away to Grill Noir instead to get a Beef Stroganoff for a dollar less, and they settle for a can of Sprite. The Astronaut heads to Pokes’ Rice and Beans to immediately order The Traditional, a dish that they’ve been craving for a while. JonathanDark takes $12.

The Tech Bro queues up at Pokes’ Rice and Beans for some Beans. When they’re served some kind of lamb salad they frown and send it back, stare into space for a while while tapping the side of their glasses, then go next door to the other Pokes’ Rice and Beans stall to get The Traditional for $8 cheaper. The Stage Magician stops at The Good Food for a Grilled Cheese, which they fold between a couple of napkins and apparently tuck into a shirt pocket that it shouldn’t be able to fit into. Vovix takes $20.
