Proposal: More Ships, the sequel?!

Illegal third pending proposal, after Plagiarism and Plagiarism Plagiarism. -RaichuKFM

If the preposals “Distant Flags Over These Waters” or “Raise the Sails and Batten the Hatches” fail, this preposal does nothing. Create a subrule of the rule NPC Ships, called “The Blue Vessal”

The Blue Vessal is an NPC Ship. As a daily action, the Pirate may change the Blue Vessal’s location to an island with no Hunters or NPC Ships on it, as long as it is diagonally distant on the grid. The Blue Vessal must not move laterally or vertically on the grid.

Set the Blue Vessal’s name to “The Duke’s Sapphire”. Set the Blue Vessal’s Cannon to 7. As a Daily Action the Pirate may set the Blue Vessal’s Peices to Seven. If a Hunter is in the same location as the Blue Vessal, they may choose to fight. If the Hunter wins, they gain 3 Peices and may subtract 3 from the Blue Vessal’s Pieces. If they lose, they must subtract 3 from their own pieces, and add 3 to the Blue Vessal’s pieces.

Thinking about adding a ghost ship later, maybe that only appears between 8:00PM and 8:00M? What does everyone else think?

imperial What does it mean for the NPC to be “diagonally distant”?

The island that the Pirate mives it to must be in a diagonal direction. No moving sideways or up and down.

against It can’t move at all, because a diagonal move is still a lateral and vertical move.

Also, setting the Blue Vessal’s stats shouldn’t be part of a rule; either the rule should define those stats, not “set” them, or the Proposal itself should set those values as an extra effect, not as part of a rule.

And, as for the ghost ship, I don’t think something that’s time sensitive is a great idea; there are several disparate time zones, here, and BlogNomic shouldn’t be a game that’s heavy on the time needed to play every day.

Finally, this is your third pending proposal, and as such is illegal. Try to remember that.
