Declaration of Victory: My Crime is That of Curiosity

Enacted 6 to 0 - undisputed quorum in favour after 12 hours, including the Zero Cool. Processed by Kevan. Ascension address to follow in the GMT morning.

The CfJs on the legality of the Codename “:Corp Names” possessing five Secrets have both reached a quorum of supporters. I have now retired that Codename, and under the rule “Hack the Planet” I have achieved victory.

I think this win is iffy. Not just for the reasons set out in the CfJ; those have been discussed and I don’t intend to rehash that discussion. But there is one other problem which I haven’t brought up yet, which is that Kevan and I created two Codenames named “:Corp Names” near-simultaneously.

The GNDT log has Kevan’s version initialising slightly before mine, at 13:16 to my 13:17. I’m not sure, though, that a GNDT entity isn’t ‘created’ when it is loaded into the backend, rather than when it is initialised. And I know that I wasn’t rushing.

This is important because Codenames have to be unique, and the second one is therefore illegal.

Unfortunately this isn’t really provable one way or another. So consider this for to be offered with only a very slightly raised eyebrow :)

For what it’s worth, my edit did actually predate your creation of the account - I gave it a different password, which got changed to “lepidoptera” when you edited the config. No way for me to prove that, though.
