Proposal: Near? No! The end is HERE!

Passes. Time for me to go to work. Argh!—Clucky

Adminned at 27 Dec 2007 19:54:54 UTC

The Valkyrie that passes this proposal shall immideatley begin Ragnarök be preforming the following steps:

Starting with Wit and continuing down the list of statistics, skipping Tinkering, e shall totals every Valkyrie’s skirmish rating as if he was preforming a skirmish. For each statistic, for each valkyrie that has a positive skirmish rating in that statistic, he should roll a DICEN where N is that Valkyrie’s skirmish rating in that statistic. That is the Valkyrie’s score in that statistic. Any Valkyrie that does not have a positive skirmish rating in that statistic has a score of zero for that statistic. For each statistic, the Valkyrie who has the highest score for that statistic is given one “victory point”. If two or more valkyrie’s tie for the highest score in a given statistic, both are given a “victory point”. All Valkyrie start with zero victory points.

If, after the above steps have been preformed for all seven statistics and one Valkyrie has the most victory points then that Valkyrie has achieved victory. If there is a tie for the most victory points, the Valkyrie with the most acorns amongst those tied for the most victory points has achieved victory. If there is a tie amongst the most acorns as well, a DICEN is rolled where N is the number of Valkyrie tied with victory points and acorns. The Xth Valkyrie when their names are listed alphabetically (where X is the result of the die role) has achieved victory.

for since without hix the other one is a rather moot point

for One issue, and I don’t think it will matter “If two or more valkyrie’s tie for the highest score in a given statistic, both are given a “victory point”. All Valkyrie start with zero victory points.” but unless three or more tie, this wont matter. Might be worth a fix?

plus what if the leader doesn’t want to declare victory? might want to add in aboubt passing that to the next highest and so on

After achiving victory you become the emperor and can “pass the mantel” if you don’t want to run.

Why won’t this matter, Chivalrybean? If three people roll 8s and thats highest, they all need victory points . I’m confused as to why its a problem.

:for: It’s about time.  I was trying to think of a way to do Ragnarok but just couldn’t.  This is great.

If anyone passes this before I do, as I won’t until tonight, remember it needs to be 12 hours =P

Sorry, it says ‘both’ are given a victory point, where if it is a three way tie, ‘both’ doesn’t exactly work.

Meh, if it comes up we can *handwave* it.  Or CFJ if people want to be reeealy picky.

Yeah, I’m fine with doing what was meant, despite what it actually says, since it is pretty clear what was meant.

I recommend that whomever enacts this should post a detailed step-by-step summary of the calculations—with Supported God bonuses, special effects and so forth, calculations are complex enough such that I imagine that everyone will want to double-check them.
