Add a new rule, “[WOZ] Kilroy Woz Ere” with the following text:-
If a Student believes that the current Whiteboard visibly incorporates their own name but the name of no other Student, then they may make a Story Post with the title “[Name] Woz Ere”, where “[Name]” is their own name. If the Professor replies to that post with a comment containing a FOR voting icon within 48 hours of it being posted, then that Student Scores.

I knew it was coming sometime, but, honestly, we still didn’t dealt with the many concentric circles thing.
, for now.
Anyway, the Professor doesn’t have any obligation on casting the FOR only when he can actually read the name (which, anyway, I think should instead be voted by everyone). Also, it, as worded right now, relies on the time the Professor will take to actually be online to see the Whiteboard, or if he wants to do it at all.

It really needs some sort of check, though, and other players wouldn’t have any obligation to vote in favour, or to take the time to be online. I would hope the Professor was impartial and checking the game at least once every couple of days.

“other players wouldn’t have any obligation to vote in favour, or to take the time to be online” just like in (almost) any other aspect of the game, anyway.
I agree about the Professor though, but shouldn’t your Rule at least make it clear? (We could also add another clause in the Teacher Training. This would be, I think, a good way of regulating it).
But I’m still not voting in favor of this untill something is done about that circle thing.

I’ve now added my name inside some small concentric DO NOT ERASE circles, to prevent any player from blocking off the entire whiteboard with their name alone.
This Project may be simply stated, but it’s very difficult to attain under the current Whiteboard rules now that I’ve drawn this, giving plenty of time to propose amendments to concentric-shape DO NOT ERASE behaviour.

I’ve done likewise to prevent Kevan from immediately scoring when this proposal is enacted.

So any chance of some CoVs on this, given that achieving the win is no longer “shallow” with multiple players’ circles on the board, and that we can deal with the concentric circle problem at our leisure?
IceFromHell:
Well, I think we can give it a shot. I’m probably not going to like this mini-game very much though, as I don’t have a mouse and drawing will suck.
But I’ve joined to learn how a Nomic game can play, and this seem like a interesting experience, anyway.
