I get lucky sometimes, is there source art for the globe to work with? Or something different? I don’t know what it looked like in previous dynasties.

Can we switch it to text so we don’t have to make a new image every dynasty?

I think I’ve got this a bit, but I still need to change the veto image, and to have a good veto image.

The current Veto image of a star destroyer surrounded by a jet-black quantum reactor shield, crashing into a water planet populated by invisible telekenetic alien crystal beings, in a splash of superheated steam, on its way to shoot a photon torpedo salvo at the sub-aquatic android factor ... to me it seems more appropriate now than in last dynasty.

That’s what I don’t know how to do.  I don’t know how to upload it to the site.

Also, the color scheme looks, well, atrocious, to say the least.  Maybe make the green the text and make the background… something else.

lol alright well uploading images can only be done by the admins, so you’ll have to upload it to a third party site or get one of the admins back into blognomic.

As for the rest, Yoda you’re welcome to fiddle around with it too.  It’s the stylesheet template, just change the part after the # to hexadecimal values for RGB.  It’s not the same as HTML color codes but they’re close.

How do I upload the image?  I have the image with the text, but I can’t figure out how to upload it.

If I were an Admin I could probably figure out how to do it, but alas I am not :)

You need FTP access to the BlogNomic server, which isn’t freely available even among admins.

Just upload the image somewhere else, and include it from there, instead.

The image won’t show for some reason.  Can someone check me to see if I did something wrong.  My HTML skills are very few.

The problem is not the code, but rather where it is positioned. It should go inside the body tag, but it is outside right now.

photobucket.com might work. it makes the codes to use when a pic is lorded on it. it just needs to be the right size

A black background color might be good so that the logo would blend in.

And maybe white/green text for contrast and easy reading.

Someone still needs to change the color scheme, though.  I get confused every time I just look at the stylesheet, so I probably shouldn’t go changing colors.

hey yoda, anyway you can change the text color in the pic? its hard to read

I tried several font colors, and that one seemed like the best one.  I know it’s hard to read, but it’s one of the easier colors to read with the picture.

I might be better to add an outline around the text, but I can’t do that with the program that I used.  Maybe someone else could do that?

I don’t know how admins go about changing the stylesheet and colors and whatnot, so I don’t rightly know what access I’m asking for.

We have templates with html code for the different sections of the website.  The stylesheet is one of the templates that we have available.

If you would like to become an admin, just propose it in a proposal.
