In Rule 2.2 (“Election”) replace the following paragraph

Each Candidate also has a statistic GDNT ‘Endorses’ which is tracked in the GDNT. ‘Endorses’ can be the name of any active Candidate. A candidate is said to Endorse whichever Candidate is listed under their Endorses. If at any time a Candidate is Endorsing anyone other than an active Candidate, that Candidate then is set to Endorse themselves. A Candidate may, as a weekly action, change their Endorse to any active Candidate.

A Candidate may, as a weekly action, perform at most one of the following three options:
1) Change their Endorse to any active Candidate.
If Endorsing Candidate and Endorsed Candidate have different values of ‘Party’, the Endorsing Candidate’s value of ‘Party’ becomes the Endorsed Candidate’s value of ‘Party’, and all Candidates who Endorsed the Endorsing Candidate change their Endorse to themselves.
2) Become independent. This causes them to endorse themselves, and any Candidates who Endorsed them change their Endorse to themselves.
3) Found a party, if this is allowed. The founding Candidate and all Candidates who endorsed them become members of this party.

Change the title of Rule 2.2.1 from “Public Image” to “Parties” (rule 2.5 “Public Image” remaining unchanged) and replace its content with the following:

Each Candidate also has a statistic GDNT ‘Party’ which is tracked in the GDNT. ‘Party’ can be the name of any active party, upon which the Candidate is said to be a member of ‘Party’, or ‘Independent’, upon which the Candidate is said to be independent. Changing the value of ‘Party’ is not possible except by the Party they are a member of dissolving or by the Candidate becoming Inactive, upon which they become independent, or by the weekly actions described in rule 2.2

A Party’s Total Support is the sum total of the Supporters of all Candidates who are members of this Party.

A Party may only be founded as option of Rule 2.2 if the founder is Endorsed by themselves and at least two other Candidates, and at most two Parties have a Party’s Total Support that is equal or greater than the founder’s Total Support. When a Party is founded, the founder gives the Party its name, which has to be different from existing Parties’ names, and consists of the name of a color followed by “Party”.

Whenever a Party has less than two members, it ceases to be, and its remaining member, if there is one, becomes independent.

Set each Candidate’s Party to “Independent”.

I built a party system around the endorsement system. If that’s to complicated I’ll propose an easier party system *replacing* the endorsement system…

It’s only complicated in “law language”, in common it’s basically: You join the party of the one you endorse. If you change your party, you lose your supporters. If you’ve got support of 2 else, you can found a party.

Sorry I dislike the option to found a party, and the rules for founding that party to be split across rules
