In the rule “Making New Distinct Discoveries”, change the bullet item

Submit a description of the Discovery to the Computer. The Computer must then check the description to confirm that it would, in practice, not cease to be flavour text when added to the ruleset. They should then replace the words “Description Pending” in the Description of that Discovery to the description with which they have been provided.

Not pre-supposing the results of the CfJ, but if it passes then this won’t be needed anyway, so might as well have something in place for if it fails.

for Appreciated.

Maybe your scam goes well next time, I know you’re the kind of person who can pull it off.

So for the record I’d consider my Emperorship here a Protective one. Which means that in this case:

against Rule X of Nomic is never to let a scammer fix their own loophole, and I think there’s still an exploit here - if you’re injecting entirely arbitrary text, you can make it do anything you like, including sneaking its way past “not cease to be flavour text when added to the ruleset” (by, I’d guess, including retroactive clauses in itself).

against sk for the sake of the queue, but I would like it on the record that there was no second-order scam and that this was a genuine attempt at closing the door behind me
