Pop Goes the Princess

Create a new rule, “The Princess is in this Castle, but does not want to meet you”:

There exists an entity known as The Princess which shall be tracked by this rule. The Princess has a countdown which is an integer value that is currently 10. If no Proposals have been made for a period of 48 hours, any Bill Murray may decrease the value of the countdown by one (replacing all instances of the number 10 on this rule with 10 minus one). Once this action has been taken, no Bill Murray may perform this action again within a period of 24 hours.

At any time that the Princess’ countdown is equal to zero, repeal all dynastic rules, fail all pending proposals and begin a new Dynasty with no Phil.

Our tradition in Blognomic to deal with slow dynasties: I present you with the Braid themed Doomsday Clock.

against Does If no proposals have been made for a period for a period of 48 hours, any Bill Murray may decrease the value of the countdown by one (replacing all instances of the number 10 on this rule with 10 minus one).” mean that a Proposal must be passed, or posted as a proposal? If posted as a proposal this rule would never come into effect.

Urg… retrying (sorry, too tired).

@AL: It means, simply posted as a proposal (like it reads). There are times at when people go without proposing anything and the dynasty slowsdown. The purpose of this kind of rule is to motivate players to make it NOT come into effect.

I’m not sure this is a “tradition”.

Kevan: It has been since the First Dynasty of Rodlen.
