Proposal: Pork Barrels All Round

In “Searches”, replace “if that Villager is Outside and in the Location of the Search” with:-

if that Villager is in the Location of the Search and the Location is either Outside or non-Draughty

Set the action of the Makeshift Tent to blank.

Set the Search Multipliers of the Pork Curing Shed to “Broken 3x, Metal 2x, Bulky 1x, Fabric 0x, Organic 0x, Electronic 0x”.

Set the Search Multipliers of the Cellar to “Broken 3x, Metal 1x, Bulky 1x, Fabric 1x, Organic 1x, Electronic 1x”.

Giving the other two indoor locations the same can-search-if-not-draughty option as the Tent, and defining some Multipliers for them.

Seems like that’s now a big buff to the Pork Curing Shed, which will once again be the only location with a defined Action?

Perhaps, although a Location having other reasons for people to visit it means that any search there could end up being a Draughty waste of time.

Given that searching can have direct synergy with the action there, though, I’ll take the numbers down on it from 2x/3x Metal/Organic to 1x/1x.

Especially as, woah, yeah, you can now scoop up 3x Meat there and then cook it without even having to spend Time moving to do so.

Even with the numbers changed I think that’s simply too powerful of an incumbency advantage.

Two hard-to-remove Cudgel-wielding villagers in a Tent as the only searchable indoor location is also quite an incumbency advantage.

Numbers changed again to remove Organics entirely, though, having considered some other angles.

I don’t see how this proposal is about cudgels? Seems like if you have an objection to cudgels then it would be more productive to propose that, rather than circling your own wagons.

This proposal isn’t about Cudgels, I’m just saying there was some incumbency advantage in your earlier proposal to allow Heat-free searches in a single specific location so long as it wasn’t overcrowded, when you were already at that location with a Cudgel. The Cudgel is an item that makes it harder for other players to remove someone from their location.

I’m not even proposing this from the Pork Shed.
