Proposal: Changing the Modus Ponens

Replace the following text within rule 2.15 The Modus Ponens:

Often, a Traveller may pick a subrule, and carry out that subrule’s Action.

With:

Often, a Traveller may pick one or more subrules, and carry out the specified Action(s).

If the majority of comments contain the word “limits” add the following to the rule:

E may pick a maximum of three subrules.

And oh, this isn’t a legal proposal - you have to put it in the “Proposal” category (from the “Categories” tab when you’re writing a blog entry).

It’s illegal to change an entry into an Official Post, under Rule 1.7 (to make sure that proposals really do get 48 hours voting time), so you should just create a new, correct proposal and delete this post.

To allow actions to trigger other actions, I would vote for it if the wording were:

The subrule’s Requirements describe a set of game events and / or gamestates. Often, a Traveller may pick 3 or less different subrules, and carry out those subrules’ Actions.  Travellers specify the order in which the Actions occur.  A traveller may only carry out each of those subrule’s Actions if that subrule’s requirements are true. When a Traveller performs a set of Actions, e must post a weblog entry explaining the order of eir Actions and state how the requirements were all fulfilled.

I say 3 or less different actions, but I guess that’s up for debate :)

...and be careful with the “If the majority of comments contain” wording, as this may encourage spam comments to change the comment totals.

Alright. I’ll be more careful in the future. I just joined after all, and this is something new to me. Thank you.
