Proposal: Cheese

When you make a proposal then you have to say out loud"I like cheese”.

NOTE: Well, one issue, this isn’t a notable proposal. Another issue, you’re not a shuttle. Third issue, pretty spammy

Loading… is my brother.

Sorry I didn’t know the rules.
Jefferson Steelflex is my LITTLE brother.

Forget about all of this!

I read the rules (Jefferson Steelflex pointed them out to me) but I didn’t understand most of it.

How do you become a shuttle?

By posting to the blog saying you want to. Then an admin will add you to the player list and GNDT.  BUT…

Becoming a player before you understand the rules is a bit of a bad idea.

Also, pay attention to the Fair Play rule: “A single person should not control more than one Shuttle within BlogNomic.”  I notice that Jefferson Steelflex has accidentally voted as you already.  Given that this is the only offense Blognomic has ever banned players for, if you do join, you and Jefferson should always use different computers to play Blognomic so that these mistakes don’t happen.

Addendum: One player, udqbpn, was banned for extreme spamming in addition to puppeteering a second player account.

We’ve managed sibling players in the past without voting clash being a problem, we just clearly stated that we would never honour any accidental votes while logged into the wrong account. If you leave yourself logged in and your brother changes your votes to his, burns all your fuel and crashes you in a moon, it would take more than an “oh, but that wasn’t me” to undo it.

What if we only have one computer?

Sorry I accidentally used my brothers account for that comment^.

We have two computers, and loading is my younger brother.

Whatever the setup, if you’re playing BlogNomic in such a way that someone else can sometimes make comments from your account, you have to accept any consequences of that.

If you did want to take something back because your brother did it in your name, it could be done (anything can be done in Nomic!) but you’d have to start from the perspective that your brother’s action was entirely legal under the game rules: you’d need to make a proposal to put things right, and the other players would then vote on it.

(Or you could try to enact a permanent rule along the lines of “if Jefferson claims not to have done something, it can be undone”, but I doubt it would fly.)
