I’m having trouble understanding the Extra Spots rule (to the extent that I don’t really understand what it’s meant to mean).
How is the Extra Spots mechanic supposed to work, and does the current rule text actually capture that behaviour?

To my understanding, you essentially just declare an extra spot adjacent to a spot that appears in your route.
e.g. you might have the route BACABACABACA, and for A you pick your extra spot to be E.
Then, whenever you’re in A, you’re also considered to be in E. You pick up artifacts in both A and E, you meet agents that are in either A or E, and are just literally in every way in both spots, save for being unable to then travel from E to F or D, since your route itself has you in A, not E.
It currently doesn’t work like that, but it should once Missed a Spot is in.
