I wandered the land in search of jester-executioner-and-now-traitor Pokes, to have him thrown down a well. Happening upon a young boy, I questioned him on the subject and… oh wait… it was a girl if I recall correctly. Her name was, um, Alice, yes that’s it. She seemed a bit lost the poor thing, talking nonsense. I left her there and decided it would take me ages to find the coward who was probably hiding in some trash can, so I returned to my castle and brought my telescope to the highest tower. I won’t leave until I’ve found him!
