Enact a new rule entitled “Items” as follows:

Each Villager has a publicly tracked list of zero or more Items, defaulting to no Items. Items may not be traded or transferred between Villagers.

Enact a new rule entitled “Searches” as follows:

A Search is a type of Event. The Creation Conditions for a Search are that there must be no more than three Searches that are Open, and that the Villager creating a Search may not have an existing Open Search that they created.

The Response Format for a Search is a comment with the text “I join the search.” A valid Response means that the Villager who responded is considered to have joined the Search. However, if a Villager has joined another Search that is currently Open, they may not join any other Search; any attempt to do so is not considered a valid Response.

The Ending Action for a Search may only be performed by either the Blizzard or the Villager who created that Search, and may not be performed for a given Search if that Search has been Open for less than 24 hours; it is an atomic action with the following steps:
* post a comment on the Search being ended with the text “This Search is complete.”
* for each Villager who joined the Search that is being ended, select a random entry from the list of Found Items and then—if the selected entry is not Nothing—add it to that Villager’s Items.
