Proposal: Tamper, Tamper

Remove “If the Crewmember who sent the Tamper message to the Ship’s Computer is part of the response team for that mission, then it fails regardless of any other conditions.” from the rule “Tampering”.

Insert a new bullet point after the first in the “When a Mission is processed” list:-

  • If the Mission was created by a Tamper message and the Crewmember who sent that message is among its Responder Team, the Mission becomes Unattended.

The new Tamper rule seems vague (and arguably ineffectual) when it makes Missions become “failed”. This proposal explicitly causes them to fail in the same manner as Unattended Missions, causing one level of damage to a System.
