2 arm slots
1 head slot
2 leg slots
2 feet slots
1 torso slot
1 face slot

I don’t understand what this means, could someone explain it to me?

It’s not very clear, but I assume it’s trying to say that Supplies can’t occupy a single slot (so the proposed “Hard Hat” would be illegal under this rule), and instead have to occupy three at once (so hats are out, but a balaclava that covered your Head, Face and Neck would be okay).

Sounds like a fun creative constraint, but it might be easier to just drop the number of slots we’re using.

(Also, there’s no grinding under the initial rules: every active player gets to - and has to - take one item from every crate as it comes along. Nobody can knuckle down and get ahead.)

I still like the granularity of the previous idea, and if nothing ever gets made for a slot than we can ignore it. I think more options is better than less.  against

for The excessive slots did feel a bit too hardcore. We’re only ten days into a domestic quarantine situation here, and these are supply crates from a functioning government, the contents of which residents are agreeing to share out. It’s going to be more about mundane essentials than rebar clubs and spiked leg armour.

I think I’ll agree with PineTreeQ on this one. Also I could see say legs turned into one slot or arms dropped in favor of utilizing the torso more but only have one hand doesn’t seem right to me.

One reason is that so far the rules make it so that everyone MUST take an item from the crate and anything they take goes to the hand slots. That means anything which can only be held in the hand will be dropped next crate round. Making so that you need to choose to drop one or don’t have to drop one at all seems kinder.

against CoV to keep things going, particularly now that later proposals (including one approved by Cuddlebeam) are assuming multiple hand slots.
