I think that this dynasty could take a long time to actually get to a point where it would be playable. There is still too much undefined, which just makes it all the harder to figure out what to define and how.

You know what?  I’m gonna make a CoV, just because a new dynasty is acceptable, I guess.

Whoever wins, though, I implore you to make Rule 2.3 (the rule about hooks) into a Core Rule, with the exception of the Hook Limitations.  I think that worked REALLY well in this dynasty.  Added some order to the chaos (if only just a little).

That could work, but I don’t think it’s likely. It is very, very, rare (I don’t think it’s ever happened) for a dynastic rule to get promoted to core.

@h2g2guy: Please don’t vote for Ien, as that means if he wins this proposal does nothing (he can’t legally make a DoV).

Re: the core rules part, maybe it can be something as simple as a glossary entry for “Hook” that also mentions that when a Proposal intentionally introduces the Hook, it is permitted but not required for {curly brackets} to be set around the Hook (as a shorthand signal to indicate that the term is deliberately left undefined in the manner of a Hook), and the curly brackets have no game effect and can be removed from the ruleset at any time by any admin.

@spikebrennan:  That’s a better idea, actually.  I really don’t care how it’s done, I just think that making hooks clear should be a permanent part of Blognomic.
