We need a Night Watchman. If this proposal passes, then the Mayor shall select a Night Watchman via a random GNDT dice roll, with all Villagers other than the Mayor having an equal likelihood of being selected. The Villager so selected shall be the Night Watchman until he dies or is removed from the post.
I thought that Night Watchman was an Occupation (although now that I’m re-reading “Quis Custodiet”, I guess that isn’t accurate.)
At any rate, I guess I should wait for Quis Custodiet to get adminned.

Looks to me it’s an occupation, actually, especially as it comes as the result of a town meeting, and is listed in the Occupation rules.
BlogNomic is an online Nomic: a self-modifying game where changing the rules is part of the game. Players make blog posts proposing additions or alterations to the ruleset, discussing and casting votes in the comments: if enough vote in favour, the rules are changed and play continues.

I have a question for you, SB. When you wrote this, was it your understanding that “Night Watchman” is an Occupation, or that it is a secret status, similar to being a werewolf?
(If the latter, you should include a clause to have the night watchman notified of his new status, although Kevan probably would have done so anyway)
