Proposal: Town Meeting:Can we renegotiate this lynching?

If Bucky is still alive, change his occupation to Prisoner.

This alternative to outright killing is beneficial to the Humans no matter what.  If I were a werewolf, jailing me would prevent the remaining werewolves from killing, no matter how many there are.  But when the killings continue, we’ve got one more non-werewolf human around.

I take issue with “If I were a werewolf, jailing me would prevent the remaining werewolves from killing, no matter how many there are.”

If there were three or more werewolves, jailing one of them would not stop the others from killing - since this proposal, only two werewolves need to agree on a target for a murder to take place.

imperial Sorry, but Kevan’s right—imprisonment is not a good test for lycanthropy, and Bucky knows it.  Now that it looks like we’re safe tonight anyway, it’d be Tuesday before we even knew anything at all.

Besides that, if the werewolves decided not to target anybody tonight, it’d be just as good as killing somebody…

Seeing the killings stop, the villagers would probably kill Bucky.

We need more of the Bayesian statistics over here.

To quote the ruleset:
If it is Nighttime, if no Werewolves are Prisoners, if two or more living Werewolves have the same target, if those Werewolves have not killed anyone since the most recent Daytime and if their target is still Alive and not a Prisioner, then the Mayor may post a blog entry announcing that their target has been killed.
