Um…the Djinn is already required to post granted wishes on the blog. As such, I don’t see how this matters at all. 

well…yes. you’re right. I suppose it’s a matter of timing, though - maybe requests for wishes ought to be messaged to both the Sultan and the Djinni at the same time. After all, people have already messaged the Djinni with wishes that haven’t been granted (yet), and foreknowledge of those wishes would give the Sultan some benefit, even if he doesn’t know whether the Djinni will actually grant the wish

He just has “announce any resultant gamestate or ruleset changes in a blog entry” which isn’t quite the same as knowing what the wish itself was. For clever wishes, it could make a huge difference.

Will definitely vote for a change to Teddy’s suggestion.

I would vote for a version that requires wishes to be PMed to the Sultan as soon as they are made, with info about timeframes and so on. That would give them advance knowledge of wishes, as well as access to wish text, and so be solidly an advantage.
