This seems enough to render the Word Bank redundant, it’s likely only going to be one word that’s ever getting in the way of a particular idea.

The alternative is permanent first mover advantage. Two rounds in a row we’ve seen a player get sniped; doesn’t seem like great gameplay.

If we want to use time of submission as part of the gameplay this dynasty, we need some weights on both ends. I’m not sure there’s much early weight left if we defang the Word Bank.

I don’t currently see a last-mover advantage in this dynasty, so I’m happy to remove some of the first-mover advantage.

I also have an alternative proposal, “Head Start”, as a first-mover balancer.

[Doomed] The same as for any game with free actions: holding off on making your move means that you might learn something from seeing what the other players do, and you force them to commit to their choices first. From this round of this game, a late mover would have learned a few things about the views of the audience (puns: mixed reaction; toilet humour: unpopular; non-dictionary words: fine; hyphenation: might be challenged) and the importance of recent rule changes about post categories and the Prompt.
