looking at the logs, Kevan was indeed the one who idled himself. Its just weird not seeing any sort of announcement of it.
Yes, I idled myself, and the rules didn’t require me to make a post anywhere, so I didn’t. Is there a particular “dangerous” situation you had in mind, that could be avoided by requiring the admin to announce the idling in a comment?
eh, given that there is loggin it isn’t actually *that* dangerous because any admin can confirm you actually were the one that went idle. Without it, there is no good way to tell “did this guy want to go idle, or did a rouge admin so something rouge-like”
BlogNomic is an online Nomic: a self-modifying game where changing the rules is part of the game. Players make blog posts proposing additions or alterations to the ruleset, discussing and casting votes in the comments: if enough vote in favour, the rules are changed and play continues.
