Update the gamestate so that the Gladiator with the name “Yoda” no longer has an Icon assigned to him.
Doctor29’s fix only stops players from choosing the empty title as their icon; it doesn’t affect those who already have it.
To be honest, I think he was rather clever to think of it before it was defined, so I don’t see why he shouldn’t be able to keep it.
Quite a lot of people thought of that, incidentally; I know I did (and said as much on IRC). It’s the sort of thing that nomic players habitually think of.
Yoda: Yes it is: You are not allowed to assign yourself a new Icon unless you had no icon. You did have an icon. Though it is not in the rules definition a valid icon, the validity is only checked for while assigning the icon.
Thus, you cannot change your (invalid) icon by yourself, it must be done by the Announcer. :-)

Doh! Well, while we’re at it, the Announcer cannot change my icon, only the image of it. Changing the image of my icon would change all the IconEmpty.png icons as well.

BlogNomic is an online Nomic: a self-modifying game where changing the rules is part of the game. Players make blog posts proposing additions or alterations to the ruleset, discussing and casting votes in the comments: if enough vote in favour, the rules are changed and play continues.
