Proposal: You Won’t Feel The Benefit

Replace “When a Villager’s Location is Outside or is Draughty, they lose 0.1 Heat for each unit of their Time that is spent.” with:-

When a Villager’s Location is Outside, they lose 0.1 Heat for each unit of their Time that is spent. When a Villager’s Location is Draughty, they lose 0.05 Heat for each unit of their Time that is spent.

Add a new Location to the Locations table called “Cave”, with a Capacity of 2, Routes of “Forest [30], Road [12]” and “Broken 5x, Organic 5x” as its Search Multiplier.

Add “Cave [50]” to the Forest Routes and “Cave [14]” to the Road Routes.

After the sentence “All other Locations are considered to be Indoors.”, add:-

The Cave is always Draughty.

Halving the effect of a Draught compared to actually standing out in the snow, and adding a Location.

against CoV, this is actually kind of messy when you consider the rules on rounding. Since you lose the heat for each unit, it’s debatable whether you round for the sum total or per unit of time spent (which would round the heat loss back up to its normal value).

Also, you can increase time by one unit at a time to get a much different heat loss than if you do it all at once, even under the first interpretation.

against I’ve been trying to work out that same math, SingularByte. There is currently only one Villager with a Thick Jacket to further multiply Heat loss to 0.025, as well.
