Proposal: A Hat, a Brooch, a Pterodactyl

In “Material Requisition”, replace “As a weekly action, a Scribe may make a request for materials.” with:

A Scribe may spend 1 Paper to make a request for materials.

And replace “gain 1 unit of any object that is tracked in the GNDT” with:-

gain 1 unit of any object (other than Paper) that is tracked in the GNDT

against I don’t like the removal of the Weekly restriction, because it makes Paper the most valuable resource by default.  Limiting the rate at which Paper can be converted means other resources can be more valuable.

Also, this subverts the original intent of the rule, which is as a general income source for low activity players.  STRONG AGAINST.

against I do like the thematic idea that scribes fill out a piece of paper to make a request, but I still prefer the rule in its current state.
