i really liked the one proposed by qwertyu already but that one didnt really work out so
DICE aren’t bad overall but it has to do with the balance of randomness vs strategy. (At least in my opinion).
A Broadside is a daily action that marks the target ship at the same island as Damaged (tracked in the Ship column). A Damaged ship costs Pieces to repair that’s proportional to the largest Broadside it’s been hit with since the last repair, and has its speed reduced. We might restrict repairs to being performed only at certain islands (those that feature Docks).
Its effect on NPCs might be different.
