Score 4 - it does seem that it reuses the words, but the context for them seems much more consistent
@Bucky it doesn’t matter that its not in the word list
The word list is there to stop people from doing repeats, but that poses a problem when we switched to secret entries as, for example, I think the “Kababs in the yard” entry and the “Kabobs and Yogurts” entry were submitted blindly of each other.
But in this case, this submission was clearly made after the “Butcher Unprocessed corpses and Knit Yarn” submission, meaning even while it was legal under the technical wording of the rules I still think its incredibly unoriginal and thus I don’t want to reward it with much of anything.
What I mean is, “knit” cannot possibly be a Buzzword because it isn’t in the EFF word list.
Ah okay. Guess I’ll keep my score as 2 then because this at least would be a fun cozy dynasty
Score 2 for the verbatim reuse of the best part of another Backronym.
Score 2. Aside from anything else, cloth and yarn are unrelated materials.
Score 3, just to be a little less punishing towards repeats.
This Backronym is now closed.
None of the words in the title of this Backronym included all the letters of any of the Buzzwords.
Trapdoorspyder gained 4 Points from the median Score (doubled due to Endgame).
Clucky: he/him
Score 2. If this was submitted before “Butcher Unprocessed corpses and Knit Yarn” I’d give it a 4 or a 5 but feels deeply unoriginal at this point.
Honestly has me worried “Knit” or “Yarn” is a buzzword. But too lazy to do the math there. If someone convinces me otherwise I can bump both my scores on those two to 1s.
