Enact a subrule to “Characters” entitled “Character Movement” as follows:
When the Board Historian makes a move on the Board, they may also, simultaneously, add the Icon of any Character of their choosing to exactly one other cell that contains no other symbols or Icons (removing ‘_’ if it is in that cell).
If this is interesting, I’d like to also add criteria for players to make use of character-claimed spaces, maybe as a kind of blue-shell mechanic.

I’m enthusiastic about this; I wanted characters to have a kind of wildcard feel to the but my own proposal on these lines was bugged.
