In the rule “Victory and Ascension”, replace all instances of
achieved victory in the current Dynasty
with
achieved victory in the current Dynasty (but after the theme-defining Ascension Address, if the dynasty has one)
Currently, we can achieve victory before the Ascension Address wipes the ruleset, and declare it immediately afterwards.
Josh, that definition would contradict the definition - Each Dynasty may be headed by a single Player, known as the Dealer - by giving each Dynasty two Dealers.
Why? We can still have the old dynasty end with the DoV, and just have the gap between be defined as an interregnum
per Josh. Also having the two parentheticals will look kind of sloppy and redundant when only the second one really matters.
Given that nobody ever bothered adding back the missing Player synonym core rule during the whole last dynasty (which now that I look meant that Seasonal Actions were all illegal), I’d rather this had a temporary if ugly fix, than be thrown onto the “fix this later if we remember” pile.
