Does 24 hours cross between weeks?

I know that a Week ends on a Sunday, but doesn’t Weekly’s prohibition on “not more than once every twenty-four hours” still count if the first instance was near the end of Sunday night and the next instance is less than 24 hours later Monday morning?

ais did the Weekly refresh of discs on 23:59, March 30, 2025 and then Kevan did it 07:56, March 31, 2025. I’m just trying to determine if I misunderstood the rules or not before attempting to revert Kevan’s refresh.

It’s a Weekly Communal Action; that’s a different appendix entry with slightly more liberal criteria.

That’s actually an interesting one. My view would be that the 24 hour restriction applies to a given Nomicer that performs those actions, but doesn’t apply between Nomicers. I think Kevan’s action is legal, but it wouldn’t be legal if he’d done the first weekly action too.

Hm, “A Weekly Communal action is a Weekly Action” should mean that it contains the same rules as a Weekly Action, but additionally specifying only one Nomicer as being able to carry out the action. I would think that “but not more than once every twenty-four hours” comes with it as part of the action. In my head, it would read, in total:

If a game action is a Weekly Communal Action, only one Nomicer who is able to perform it may take that action once each week, but not more than once every twenty-four hours.

I guess that still begs the question of whether another Nomicer who is able to perform it is subject to the 24-hour restriction of when the other Nomicer performed it before.

I consciously took the action under the interpretation that SingularByte gives above, that it’s as if I took a regular Weekly Action which also happened to have an additional “can only be performed by one Nomicer per week” restriction on it, which I didn’t break.
