Add the following sentences to Spellcasting:

Each spell has a difficulty level. Apprentices may not cast spells with Difficulty higher than their Intelligence, a stat which is tracked in the GNDT, and which has a default value of 5.
All spells are to be listed in the following format:

Name:
Difficulty:
Activation Sequence(s):
Effect(s):

Add a subrule to “Spellcasting” and call it “Basic Spells”:

Name: Lesser Sort
Difficulty: 5
Activation Sequence(s): SORT
Effect(s): The Apprentice may change the order of their workbench to either alphabetical or reverse-alphabetical order, leaving X runes in their place.

Name: Sap
Difficulty: 5
Activation Sequence(s): SAP
Effect(s): The Apprentice may change all of their X runes to the value of any single other rune that is in the workbench of another Apprentice. Then they transform all of the other Apprentice’s runes that share that value to X.

Name: Pot Roast
Difficulty: 1
Activation Sequence(s): POTROAST
Effect(s): The Apprentice may create a Pot Roast in their possession.

Set all Apprentices’ Intelligence values to the initial.

against on the intelligence/difficulty.  It’s really as easy as lining up the runes and setting them off, guys.  No need to complicate things.

against Also, SAP seems overpowered for a three-rune spell.

Are you supposed to be in character when you talk about the game as if it already exists somewhere we can’t see it, Bucky?
