Add the following Parameter Options:
Apprentice:
WE - every Apprentice - X3 (Difficulty: 3A)
Domain:
OM - every Domain - X4 (Difficulty: 5A)
“Awesome parameter options” seems like a good theme for Arcane.
I like the idea, but how would you evaluate “5 + {Mastery Level in Domain Chosen}”?
Clucky - Presumably you’d add up the mastery level in all your domains.
Why? My mastery level isn’t defined for all domains. That is a reasonable thing to change it to, but we can’t just assume the rules work that way we’d need to actually change it.
Yeah, it is. “[...] each Domain with nonzero Mastery is represented in the GNDT by the first letter of that Domain, preceded by the amount (Level) of Mastery they have in that Domain (e.g. an Apprentice with 3 Mastery in Fire and 2 Mastery in Arcane would have 3F2A in their Mastery cell). Apprentices start with no Mastery in any Domain.”
Thus, in any Domain in which the GNDT doesn’t have a value for, the value is 0.
BlogNomic is an online Nomic: a self-modifying game where changing the rules is part of the game. Players make blog posts proposing additions or alterations to the ruleset, discussing and casting votes in the comments: if enough vote in favour, the rules are changed and play continues.
